Hey all. It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Between being a mother of 5 and a Grandmother of almost 4. Plus working on film projects I don't always get on the computer like I want to. I will be better at this.
I am looking for new products to sample and demo for. If anyone has any suggestions for any products they have heard about and would like to see me write about, please feel free to drop me a line.
I will post again soon.

Rimmel

I decided to post my first review of a product I actually have in my makeup kit. I have used this product on many actors. There seems to be less break outs with this line then some others I have used.
The product line is "Rimmel". I have used the complete line of foundations. They have a "Mousse Foundation" which is very smooth and light. Its great for skin that doesn't need a lot of coverage. Teens would do well with this one. The next is the Liquid Foundation "Renew and Lift". I like this for a little more coverage. It is good for woman with a few more wrinkles. It has a lift in it. It doesn't settle in the creases as much. The also have a Creme Foundation "Stay Matte". Its a little thicker and has the best coverage. I like to use this on people who need high coverage for blemishes and discoloration. I have used this on Brides. It is Non-Transferable. So their white dresses and the Grooms tuxes will have less chance of makeup getting on them.
Foundation Tip 1: I like this one best for film. I like to apply all Foundations with either a Foundation Brush or a Stipple Brush. I feel I get the best coverage this way. Spounges are ok. I just feel they can be a little streaky.
Foundation Tip 2: I like to use two shades when applying Foundation. I use one a little lighter and a little darker then the skin tone. When I say a little I mean very little. Don't go too far either way. It won't match up. I then mix the colors sligtly and apply. Our skin has mutiple colors in it naturally. It takes some practice but it works beautifully once you have it.
I have also used Rimmels Lip Liners and Lip Gloss. I love the Liner color called "Addiction". It is my favorite color for any skin color. It is a nutral color and is long lasting as well. I fill in the lips with it, then apply some Burts Bees chapstick (or any of your choice) over it for mousture. If you prefer to have a little shimmer. Use the Lips Gloss color of your choice. They have a great selection and they last. Always keep your Liner sharpened. It will apply better and have less chance for injury to your lips. After all your lips are a sensetive tissue. Treat them kindly.
I think I will check out L'Oreal makeup next. Check back and see what I have to say.
Thanks for reading.

Beauty is in every woman, because all woman are beautiful no matter what size shape or color we are. Enjoy being who you are!
So after much debate and people asking, I have started a blog for beauty tips and secrets I have learned over the years of doing makeup in film. It is amazing how many tips and tricks there are out there that most people don't know about. I am excited and eagar to get them out to the woman who are searching for them.
My goal is to go to department stores, or online, get the products and try them out and pass along the information to woman who are looking for the right product for a good price. Beauty doesn't have to be expensive. There are many products out there that will do a great job and won't break the bank.
I will let you what product I am using and where you can buy it. How it works. I will also give you tips on applying the product.
I would love to have input or requests from people. If there is a makeup line you are curious about, let me know and I will investigate it for you. Give you my feed back and a thumbs up or down on it.
I am off to the store to buy my first product. More soon
